I made these collages a while ago. When I was finished I thought that the one with the raspberries and lots of other clippings turned out the best. But now I'm not so sure. The second one is like a concentrate of all the images I gathered and loved that afternoon, with only the best and strongest left.

The Local Natives is a band from the Silverlake burough in LA, where they are local natives. They make folksy, indie music that totally speaks to me.

Run Lola Run

Made in 1998 it's already called a classic. And I can only agree. Dynamic, exciting, endearing and very funny at times, Lola rennt is a must-see.

In order to save her boyfriends' life by noon, Lola has to run. Run to her father who works at the bank, run to the casino. But as she goes, it becomes clear that those split seconds are life-changing. Not just for her, but for everyone around her too.
The movie is all about time, little time and it makes you sit on the edge of your seat. The Germans are known for always being on time, so it has that cultural link since the film is a German production. , It's made in the nineties. With the technology and the house scene rising, people were to become super human, like Lola seems at times in the movie.

Friday silhouettes

A model, a teacher, art students, a classroom, more sheets of paper then you thought you'd ever need, ink, latex paint.

And then we started to paint silhouettes. Outlines of people are actually my favorite thing to draw. Especially when I'm not really paying attention.
